Our Editorial Process
IbizaMed is a technology-driven directory that uses verified data sources and AI-enhanced content generation to provide accurate, comprehensive information about medical services in Ibiza. Here is how our process works:
Data Collection from Google Maps
All listing data originates from Google Maps — a trusted platform where real businesses maintain their profiles. We collect business names, addresses, phone numbers, operating hours, photos, and customer reviews directly from verified Google Maps listings.
Geographic Verification
Every listing is geo-verified to ensure it is actually located in Ibiza. We use GPS coordinates centered on the island (38.96338, 1.41297) with a 22.44km radius to filter out any businesses outside the island.
AI-Enhanced Content Generation
We use Google Gemini AI to generate comprehensive, tourist-focused summaries for each listing. The AI analyzes business data, customer reviews, and service details to produce scannable content including quick overviews, review highlights, service descriptions, tourist information, and frequently asked questions.
Periodic Re-Verification
Listings are periodically refreshed with updated data from Google Maps. We re-verify business information, update reviews, and regenerate AI content to ensure accuracy. Our goal is to maintain the most current directory of medical services in Ibiza.
Transparency & Data Sources
Business Data: Sourced from Google Maps, where businesses manage their own verified profiles with accurate addresses, phone numbers, and operating hours.
Customer Reviews: All reviews shown on IbizaMed are real Google Maps reviews written by actual customers. We do not create, modify, or filter reviews.
Photos: Business photos are sourced from Google Maps and uploaded by business owners or customers.
AI Content: Summaries, descriptions, and FAQs are generated by Google Gemini AI based on the collected business data and reviews. AI-generated content is clearly presented as enhanced information to help tourists make informed decisions.
Listing Inclusion: IbizaMed aims to include all relevant medical service providers in Ibiza. Listings are not paid placements — all businesses found through our search criteria are included in the directory.
