    About This Practice

  • Clínica Gálvez Rabadán is a specialized medical center dedicated to the art and science of hair restoration and aesthetic medicine in Ibiza. Unlike large commercial chains, this clinic focuses on a boutique experience where the medical directors, Dr. Gálvez and Dr. Rabadán, oversee every patient's journey personally. They specialize in treating both male and female pattern baldness, as well as providing non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
  • Facility & Team

  • The clinic features a state-of-the-art surgical suite designed specifically for long hair transplant sessions, ensuring patient comfort with ergonomic seating and entertainment options. The team consists of highly qualified surgeons, specialized nurses, and patient coordinators. All medical professionals are registered with the Spanish Medical College (Colegiado), ensuring adherence to strict EU safety standards. Staff are fluent in Spanish and English, with some capability in other European languages.
  • What to Expect During Your Visit

  • Initial Consultation: A thorough diagnostic phase using trichoscopy to evaluate donor hair density and scalp health.
  • Treatment Planning: A transparent discussion regarding the number of grafts needed or the units of aesthetic product required.
  • The Procedure: For hair transplants, this is a full-day event in a sterile, relaxed environment. For aesthetics (Botox/fillers), sessions are typically 30-60 minutes.
  • Follow-up: A robust post-care protocol, including washing instructions for hair patients and 24/7 contact for any concerns.
  • Location & Accessibility

  • Located in Sant Jordi de ses Salines, the clinic is perfectly positioned for those staying in Ibiza Town, Playa d'en Bossa, or San José.
  • Parking: Generally easier than in central Ibiza Town, with street parking available nearby.
  • Public Transport: Accessible via the L10 bus line connecting the airport and the city center.
  • Accessibility: The facility is modern and designed to be accessible to all patients.
  • Why Tourists Choose Them

  • Many international patients choose this clinic to avoid the 'medical tourism' factories in other countries, preferring the high safety standards of a Spanish-licensed facility. The proximity to the airport allows for 'fly-in, fly-out' consultations, though most transplant patients stay in Ibiza for 3-5 days.
  • Safety & Standards

  • The clinic adheres to all Spanish Ministry of Health regulations. They utilize single-use surgical materials and high-level sterilization protocols. Their aesthetic products (Botox, Hyaluronic Acid) are sourced from reputable, FDA-approved laboratories like Allergan or Galderma.
  • Booking & Practical Info

  • Appointments can be made via WhatsApp, phone, or the website contact form. While aesthetic treatments can sometimes be booked with a few days' notice, hair transplant surgeries often require booking 1-2 months in advance. Frequently Asked Questions

Do the doctors at Clínica Gálvez Rabadán speak English?

Yes, both the medical directors and the administrative staff are fluent in English and regularly treat international patients.

How long do I need to stay in Ibiza for a hair transplant?

It is recommended to stay at least 3 to 4 days: one day for the procedure and two days for the initial post-op check-up and first hair wash at the clinic.

What is the difference between FUE and DHI offered here?

FUE involves creating channels before implanting grafts, while DHI uses a specialized 'implanter pen' to do both simultaneously, often allowing for higher density and no shaving of the recipient area.

How much does a hair transplant cost in Ibiza?

Prices are personalized based on the number of grafts, but they generally range from €3,000 to €6,000, which is competitive with other high-end European clinics.

Is the clinic near the airport?

Yes, the clinic is in Sant Jordi, which is less than a 5-minute drive from Ibiza Airport (IBZ).

Can I get Botox or fillers during my vacation?

Yes, these are quick procedures. However, it is advised to do them at least 24-48 hours before heavy sun exposure or flying to minimize swelling.

Does the clinic offer a free initial consultation?

Many aesthetic clinics offer a preliminary assessment; it is best to contact them via WhatsApp for their current policy on consultation fees.

Are the results of the hair transplant guaranteed?

The clinic has a very high success rate (over 95% graft survival) thanks to their use of Sapphire technology and doctor-led implantation.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No, you can book directly with the clinic without a referral for any aesthetic or hair service.

    What payment methods are accepted?

They accept major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard), cash (within legal limits), and bank transfers.
