Totalmente recomendable!!

Farmacia Can Bellotera stands as a premier health destination in Ibiza, strategically located at the gateway of Sant Jordi de ses Salines, specifically at Kilometer 1.7 of the Carretera San Jose. This location is exceptionally convenient for international travelers, as it sits just a short drive from the Ibiza Airport (LEIB) and serves as a vital transit point for those heading toward the popular villa districts of San Jose and the vibrant beach clubs of Playa d'en Bossa. The pharmacy is housed in a modern, easily accessible facility with ample parking, a rarity in many parts of the island, making it a stress-free stop for tourists who have rented cars or are traveling by taxi. The pharmacy's accessibility is further enhanced by its proximity to several major hotel complexes and residential areas, ensuring that visitors never have to travel far for their medical needs.

Regarding service hours, Farmacia Can Bellotera offers extensive daily coverage, operating from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM from Monday through Saturday, and maintaining Sunday morning hours from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. While the pharmacy is not a permanent 24-hour facility, it participates in the mandatory 'Farmacia de Guardia' (on-duty pharmacy) rotation system established by the Balearic Islands' health authorities. This means that on specific rotating dates, the pharmacy remains open through the night to handle emergencies. For tourists, the staff is well-versed in explaining this system and can provide the schedule or direct patients to the nearest open pharmacy during late-night hours. Communication is a hallmark of this establishment; the pharmacists and technicians are proficient in English, which is crucial for the international demographic of Ibiza. This linguistic capability allows for deep medication counseling, ensuring that tourists understand dosage instructions, potential side effects, and interactions with other medications without the barrier of a language gap.

For tourists requiring prescription fulfillment, Farmacia Can Bellotera is highly efficient. They can process Spanish national health system prescriptions as well as private prescriptions. For international visitors, the pharmacy can often fulfill prescriptions from other EU countries provided they meet the 'Cross-border healthcare' directive requirements (containing the patient's name, prescriber details, and the generic name of the drug). For non-EU prescriptions, such as those from the UK, USA, or Australia, the pharmacists can offer guidance on how to obtain a local equivalent or direct the patient to a nearby medical center for a local validation. The pharmacy stocks a vast range of over-the-counter (OTC) medications, ranging from common analgesics like Paracetamol and Ibuprofen to specialized gastrointestinal treatments for 'traveler's tummy.' Their inventory is particularly robust in travel-specific health products, including high-factor dermatological sunscreens, effective mosquito repellents for the Mediterranean climate, and motion sickness remedies for those planning boat trips to Formentera.

Beyond basic medication, Farmacia Can Bellotera is a comprehensive health hub. They offer a wide array of medical supplies, including first-aid kits, orthopedic supports, and wound care products. For those traveling with infants, the pharmacy provides a dedicated section for high-quality baby formulas, diapers, and pediatric care items. The facility also stays current with modern health needs, offering rapid COVID-19 antigen tests and professional blood pressure monitoring. Their dermocosmetic department is particularly noteworthy, featuring premium European brands that are often sought after by tourists looking for high-end skincare. Whether you are dealing with a minor sunburn, a lost prescription, or a more urgent health concern, the team at Farmacia Can Bellotera provides a professional, empathetic, and highly organized service that caters specifically to the unique needs of Ibiza's international visitors. Their reputation, reflected in their high 4.8-star rating, is built on years of reliable service and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical care in the Balearic Islands.
