What Customers Say
With a stellar 4.9-star rating from 24 reviews, The Chettinad Retreat is consistently praised for its 'life-changing' atmosphere and the profound expertise of its founder, Deepa. Real customers frequently mention the 'magical' quality of the sound healing sessions and the 'authentic, non-commercial' feel of the yoga classes. Specific praise is often directed toward the peacefulness of the Sant Agustí location and the kindness of the staff. A common theme among reviewers is that this is a place for 'true healing' rather than just a physical workout. No significant negative patterns or complaints were identified in current public feedback; however, some users suggest booking well in advance as private sessions fill up quickly during the peak summer season.

Thank you so much for everything! Everyone loved being there. It has a very special energy ✨
It is the most stunning villa and the view is unbelievable. Everyone who stayed with us spoke with such delight at how amazing and bright it was. We loved it so much we are coming back next year! Thanks for having us from the team at Harmony Experiences
We hosted a beautiful spring retreat at the Chettinad. What a beautiful space to bring our guests, a private space nestled in the hills it was the perfect setting for our retreat. We loved the big seating area at the pool for workshops and discussions, and the dining area was bliss for all our meals - it was great being able to move from space to space as the day flowed. The dome is perfect for yoga, meditation, mindfulness etc - we had our morning and evening sessions here and again it provided a special space for our practices. We had a really magical retreat here, one that will stay with us forever. And I cannot forget to mention Denise - always on hand to help, she facilitated the planning from the start with helpful recommendations, then she personally gave us a really helpful tour to begin the retreat. Denise you made us feel safe and secure at all stages through the process. Thank you! Nic (Scotland Retreats)
I love this place. The Chettinad is simply a magical place. The Yoga Dome has a special energy, the house, the rooms, the landscape around it. I have had the biggest growth impulses here for and with my women during my retreats and workations. Denise and her husband are great and very accessible. Well organized. Dreamlike place. Thank you .. coming back next year ! again and again!
Nice place, but all the strict rules made our stay during a retreat unnecessarily rigid. Why do we need to leave already the room by 9 during off-season? And leave the whole premise as a group by 10?! Instead of putting up these rules, the owners should make sure that the building is safe. Four of us fell on the stairs towards the pool (myself twice) and twisted my ankle badly. The bathroom floor is also super slippery. The doors don’t insulate any sound etc. Minor things, but if you are imposing rules, I think it’s good to see the other side too and reflect on them.
Thank you so much for everything, we had an amazing week, the house is beautiful and the dome is magical. 🙏🏼✨
